Check out the fun color block designs created for Mersur and their latest Mailchimp campaign to advertise new Spring Twilly Bracelets.

MIT/Kearney Report and Social Images /
This project included designing the ten page report with a large infographic, web assets and social cards. The client did not have a color palette set so I was able to do my own for this piece. Using The Home Edit influence, I used a rainbow palette.

Finally had a professional headshot taken in September and my finals are in!
I worked with Christine McShane Photography who holds branding sessions at Lindsay Taylor Spatique and has a hair and makeup package. I went with the professional portrait shot. Choosing a outfit was tough, I brought a bunch of options the day of the shoot. Be true to yourself and choose what works for you and your brand.

Tallman's Sign Design /
I grew up in retail, starting making bows and wrapping presents at Christmastime at Tallman’s Dept. Store. I learned from my dad, grandfather, mother, grandmother, aunt that worked at the store. I also learned from all the other employees, plus high school & college aged kids that passed thru over the years. Officially put on the payroll at age 15. My parents sell women’s, men’s, and big & tall clothing, accessories, and even send out UPS packages out back. They have a little of everything and at one time, my dad’s Petroliana collection was on display. He downsized that last summer and in another post, I’ll have to show the book I designed of the photoshoot I arranged to showcase that collection.
I’m proud to have created a new sign for the building of my parent’s business. It used to have a clothing hanger in a box, a symbol in a box. Mom said it was well overdue for a refresh. And, if you know my mom, you know that needs to get done.
So many months ago, we discussed what they were looking for, what they liked. I did my own research to see what we could do that would be a mesh of ideas and my own. I created several options for them to choose from to showcase the clothing and tuxedos. We wanted it to be classy, loved the look of black and white, have a touch of handwritten font, and be able to stand out on the light tan building.
And today the sign is on the building!! I will try to get some more photos next time I’m in town.
Fame Hair by Livia Logo Design /
I love helping business owners transform their brand with a new logo. A recent brand I created and is still a bit of a work in progress is for Fame Hair by Livia. I gave the owner a bunch of options and now I am refining her final selection.
Round 1 Designs
Below is a sample of her first round of logo designs:

This round was a mesh between the Round 1 far right design options.
In the process of refining the logo design tonight, the typography had to be tightened up a bit on the "by Livia" portion...way too loose.
Here are my two ideas for business cards to be printed on rounded on edges.
Which business card front side do you like? The design on the left or right? Below is the tightened logo design. This is still a work in progress. I like the business card on the right using a rule above and below Fame Hair. So it looks like I will be doing some more tweaking to this logo before sending it off.
Below is a refined logo that feels like the one to me. I love the vertical lockup but this could easily be horizontal if needed. Also below is a business card that highlights the logo mark.
